Liam Johnston to Headline HOT100 Vietnam Golf Day
Scottish tour professional will run a Long Game clinic, take on guests in a Beat the Pro challenge, and give the tournament winners a private session
Winna Media is pleased to announce that Scottish professional golfer Liam Johnston will join HOT100 Vietnam 2026, the invitation-only retreat for gaming industry executives, taking place 25–28 November 2026.
Liam will be the featured professional at the HOT100 golf day. He will open the day with a Long Game clinic before the Fast Track golf tournament begins, and he will stay on the course throughout the day to talk with players and share tips.
A Career Built on Grit
Liam was born in Dumfries and reached the professional game the hard way. In 2017 he won the Scottish Open Amateur Stroke Play Championship, the first Scot to take the title since 2008, and turned professional late that year.
His first professional season was a breakthrough. He won the Andalucía Costa del Sol Match Play 9 in only his third Challenge Tour start. He then won the Kazakhstan Open, one of the most lucrative events on the European Challenge Tour. Those two wins in his rookie season earned him a European Tour card for 2019, which completed what had been a three-year plan in just nine months.
On the DP World Tour, Liam has played alongside the best in the world. One highlight was the Portugal Masters, where his 10-under-par 61 gave him the first-round lead and left him two holes away from a rare round of 59. He added a third Challenge Tour title at the 2022 Empordà Challenge and continues to compete on the HotelPlanner Tour in 2026.
What’s in Store for HOT100 Guests
- Long Game Clinic: Before the tournament tees off, Liam will lead a session on driving and long-iron play, the shots that set up every hole.
- Fast Track Golf Tournament: Guests can compete in the HOT100 golf tournament, presented by Fast Track, with Liam on hand all day to chat and offer advice.
- Beat the Pro: On one designated hole, players can go head to head with Liam and see how their game holds up against a tour professional.
- Private Session for the Winners: The winners of the tournament will receive a private one-on-one session with Liam the following day.

Testimonial from HOT100 2025 Thailand: “I thoroughly enjoyed the event, it was everything promised when the concept was discussed – a large group of high-quality people with the right attitude and a relaxed atmosphere in which to enjoy both business and the social side of things. A fantastic way to meet new people and to build-on existing relationships. The low-key but highly-organised controlling of the event was perfectly-pitched, huge credit to Roz and the team. I didn’t even have to give my name at the welcome dinner, my badge was just handed to me!” Michael Charlton, Former Head of Asia, Entain
