Why Attend or Sponsor Asian Gaming Congress 2027
The Philippines remains Asia’s only established regulated online gaming market, and the decisions made there over the next few years will shape iGaming across the region. Asian Gaming Congress: Building for the Future takes place from 10–12 March 2027 at the sophisticated Mandarin Oriental Makati in Manila, with a two-day programme that tackles the issues facing the iGaming industry in the Philippines and beyond.
The event is for gaming operators, their suppliers and strategic partners committed to capitalising on the significant regulatory gains under the current PAGCOR administration and keeping the regulated industry commercially viable.
The questions on the table
AGC is not a showcase of buzzwords. This year’s programme asks the hard questions that operators, investors and regulators are wrestling with right now:
- The real cost of regulation. At what point do minimum guarantees, taxation, compliance costs and restrictions make licensed gaming commercially unattractive?
- Legal versus illegal gaming. Does the regulatory environment protect legitimate operators, or does it inadvertently encourage players to migrate offshore?
- Emerging Asian jurisdictions. Will Sri Lanka and other developing markets become genuine competitors to the Philippines for gaming investment and technology operations?
- The future beyond traditional gambling. How will prediction markets, free-to-play engagement, AI and subscription-based analytics reshape the industry’s revenue models?
The agenda puts those questions to work across two full conference days. Day One opens with PAGCOR Chairman Alejandro Tengco setting out the regulator’s priorities for the next two years, from separating its regulatory and operator functions to securing a comprehensive online gaming law and strengthening AML and KYC procedures. It continues with sessions on tackling the grey market, where legal gaming is reported to account for only around 25–40% of online gaming revenue, the impact of advertising restrictions, moving to multichannel operations, and a technology super panel on KYC, fraud prevention, cybersecurity, responsible gaming and CRM.
Day Two turns to the future: AI and game design, bingo as the category killer for the Philippines, gamification and Gen Z, smarter acquisition and retention, lottery developments across Asia, and a closing panel on how AI, social engagement and prediction markets will create new business models over the next five years.

Why you should attend
If you run, invest in or supply online gaming businesses in Asia, AGC gives you two days in the same room as your peers, your partners and your regulators, including PAGCOR Chairman Alejandro Tengco and speakers from Newport World Resorts and the PCSO. You will leave with a clearer view of where the Philippine market stands, whether emerging jurisdictions such as Sri Lanka pose a real challenge, and what it will take to build operations that last.
The audience is senior and focused: presidents and CEOs, COOs, CTOs and CMOs, heads of CRM and promotions, casino, sportsbook, online gaming and bingo operators, game and software suppliers, lawyers, regulators, investors and strategic partners.
Why you should sponsor
Sponsorship puts your brand in front of exactly the decision-makers who choose suppliers, sign partnerships and set strategy in Asia’s regulated gaming market. Rather than competing for attention on a crowded exhibition floor, AGC sponsors join a focused gathering where conversations happen naturally, during sessions by day, at the pre-registration drinks on arrival evening, and at the technology-themed group drinks that close Day One.
Built on 20 years of relationships
AGC is hosted by Winna Media, whose founder has run gaming industry events across Asia for more than 20 years, in the Philippines, Macau, Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia, Singapore and Australia. Those events have always been built on relationships across the region’s operators, suppliers and regulators, and AGC 2027 continues that tradition.
A setting worth the trip
The newly opened Mandarin Oriental Makati sits above Ayala Triangle Gardens in the heart of Manila’s business district. Its refined meeting spaces suit serious discussion, and its rooms and suites offer skyline views across Makati.
